Blogger Prize

Blogger cmdenise needs to contact me.....I cannot figure out who you are on my e-mail list!

Thanks to all of you who came to our CHA open house last night.....it was a "full house" and we gave away some fun prizes and did some neat make and takes. I still have some Epic tools for sale at the discount price, which is $20 off and a free $20 die to go with it, so let me know if you want to order one. Evidently Debbie had a bit of a problem using it part of the time, but we literally got the tool two hours before the event, so did not have a chance to play with it and I am certain there will be only good said about it, so if you took the make and take, do not let her problem discourage you from trying it again. Come on in and play with our tool and see what you think, and in the meantime, I will be talking to our rep at Quickutz about it and am sure we have a winner here. It looks like a great tool to me........I am going to be excited to learn to use it! We have a batch shipping this week, and those who have pre-ordered at the sale price, will get them first. I will call you as soon as they come in......

Thanks again for your enthusiasm last night. If you did not get to come in, please stop in anytime we are open and have a look at the new product. We look forward to showing it to you, and some is already in stock.

More info soon.......my mind is in a bit of a fuzz tonight, so will post again soon. Hugs to you all..Linda

CHA viewing

Some views from Angela's camera, of the new product we were showing Mon.night. I think the photo above is showing AdornIt papers........just adoreable. I have not had time myself to see all that I had out, so if I mis-identify, I apologize. When I go in tomorrow afternoon, I will check them out and make corrections if necessary!

I have NO idea whose line this is, but it is cute and they liked it!

This paper below is definitely Cosmo Cricket Christmas line, which we have for sale in the shop right now. It is too cute and selling well already! Come get it while it is hot!

Erin and sister Britt, had a great time checking out all the new product and I think are planning some scrapping time in the shop! :)

Rownea taught the Cutest make and take using the Cricut. I want to do one too!

Angela, pictured below, was the winner of our new Quickutz EPIC tool, including a new 6 x 6 die. She is one excited lady! Congratulations Angie!

Beth and Sue ran the counter all night at the CHA Summer Event and the ladies love them. They were great......helped with food and put out all the product and kept me in line for the most part! They are such a blessing!

Debbie had a darling make and take going using the new EPIC tool, and the ladies were literally standing in line to take advantage. We will teach this again if you like, gals. Simple but cute.....the top of a card that you can use on a page or as a card...... Thanks, Debbie!

Shoppers getting a look at the new product. There was so much, we had it spread all over the tables so everyone could see!

A Special Weekend!

Hello! I just returned from Peoria, where we spent part of Sat and all day today, celebrating brother in law Mike's surprise 80th birthday party. It was so special and he was SO surprised! So, I had to miss part of the fun Prima day, but I see Angela was good enough to take photos for us and even set up a flicker acct. I will have to have her come help me figure out that new thing, but I will learn that too! Thanks, Angie!

Now, we are awaiting an exciting time with daughter, Mindy and little Norah and Ian, who will spend some time in Delavan in the near future. What a treat!

Monday is Mommie and Me crop day..........call the shop to find out what else is scheduled, or check out the website calendar. Have a blessed week......Linda

In the Midst of a Busy Week!

This has been one busy week, but guess I like them that way! Dear friend, April, arrived from Px, Ariz. on Monday and we are having such fun together. It has been super busy in the shop, with new product to put out and cleaning to be done, etc., and classes being taught. Today was Game Day and those who came had a blast just "playing games". They were all over the place and it was hard to choose which one to play first!
Friends came Tues. from Georgia, and a group of us had a wonderful time at dinner, sharing "old times"............good thing I am in the memory business! And tomorrow I begin to do serious planning for the Prima Day on Sat. There are a few spots open for all three classes. I have copies of her page layouts and you will Not be disappointed....they are delightful and I wish I could take the classes myself. If you still are thinking about coming, call or stop in. It is going to be another glorious Tina the Primadonna Day and you will go home with wonderful projects worth more than you paid for them, prizes, new techniques under your belts, and having had a very fun day. Hope you can join us. I will have a Few extra kits, which will sell for the class price, but of course, you will not receive the "extras" that Tina gives, or the techniques. Come if you can........we love providing these days for you.
Lunch will be Panera Sandwich buffet, chips and dip, veggies, beverages, and Ed's brownies. Cost for that is $8.00 but you are not required to eat lunch with us. I am doing it as a convenience and it is your choice.
We are adding some new guidelines for the Cricut Classes and I will have them posted in the shop by tomorrow afternoon, and will try to get them onto the website also. Months of teaching these classes has made it obvious we need some serious guidelines and suggestions, so if you are thinking about taking the classes, check with us. It will be helpful for all who are interested and will save the sanity of our instructors! :)
You all are special to us and we hope to see you soon, enjoying all we have planned for our guests. Have a blessed weekend.....more soon. Linda

Bottle Boxes, Cards, New Product and the List Goes On!

I promised you last week that we would have photos of the Bottle Box class, and here we are, better late than never. People are already thinking of extremely creative ways to use these boxes and this is going to be one special class. Even Jennifer and I want to take it! There are So many ways to use these and you won't go wrong!

Just a sampling of some of the summery colors that American Crafts used in their newest papers. The embellishments are delightfully easy to use and quite varied. The rub ons are bright and cheerful and have such a wide range of subjects. New stickers to use too, that are really catching the eyes of the customers......new floral and felt, etc. Come see!

We received another several dozen rolls of ribbons this week, and they match the new American Craft papers, which is extra great! Very summery as well as a selection for baby, teens, and crafty themes..sewing,etc. It is a super line and is selling like hot cakes!

Two more from Deb's Quickutz class....she does most of the cutting and then shows you how to use these wonderful dies, and how to use them in so many different ways. A must do class.
These are from Rhonda's class and it shows the outside and inside of the gift card holder.....very fun and funky. It is a darling idea for a gift card.

Angie came in to take some photos for me to post, and I will try to get this all straight. These bottom three cards are from the Quickutz card classes we are offering this month........cute, cute. I think the two above them are from Rhonda's intermediate card class. She is bringing in more samples tomorrow, so when you are in, you can check them out.

Fun for Moms and Kiddos

Hi there! Just wanted you to know that next Wed. the 8th of July, we are hosting a fun event for moms ( or dads, or grandparents, or caregivers, etc) and kids from 3 yrs. on up. One of my guests, Taume Kohl, is a part of a company called Simply Fun, and they sell Games! These are games that are just plain fun and wholesome to play......and we thought it would be fun to offer you a game afternoon when you have run out of ideas of what to do with kids home from schoool! This is a FREE event, and there will be NO talk about buying games ( tho if you want to order, Taume will be happy to do that for you.) The idea is to offer something fun and that you can do together, so come on in. Iwill have lemonade and cookies available for snack time, and you can just kick back and play to your heart's content, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wed., July 8th.

Taume will have several game areas set up and you can come and go as you wish.....you can play for 15 minutes or all three hours........I am reserving the room for you guys to just have fun. If you have any questions, please call the shop at 728-0546. Hope you can join us! I have played some of these games myself and THEY ARE FUN!
Our shop is here for you all to enjoy, whether you need scrapbooking supplies or to visit, or to play games! Hope this helps! Have a Wonderful Independence Day tomorrow and give thanks for the Freedoms we still enjoy, thanks to our Founding Fathers and so many who have given so much for our country. Hugs..Linda
