Hello on this beautiful Spring Day! The world must be outside in the gardens, cause it is quiet in here! Ed and I planted some pink and white and blue flowers in pots outside the shop door today and it gives me hope :). Perhaps tonight we will get some in at home, too.

It has been like a birthday in here today, opening boxes of goodies. May Arts ribbons, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird and other stuff I have not looked at yet, and have spent the morning thinking of the Tons of goodies I ordered yesterday from American Crafts. Yes, Julie, one more wall box of ribbons.....could not resist, the colors were so cheerful and summery. The papers are a delight and I Know they are gonna be good ones for us. The AC items will ship in June.......I will let you know when.

Hollie's Tab album class is this Fri night and will be a zinger. We can take a few more if you want to come; just call to sign up.
That's all for today. Have boxes to unpack and stuff to do, which reminds me of a favorite Robert Frost poem, but we won't go into the woods today. :)

See the new look?

Rowena was in playing today and we decided to add a funky look to my new blog, so here we go! Tell me what you think! We are excited with the birdies and hope they add fun to your day. I thought about naming them, but might lose some staff over that one. :) Hope you have a blessed Mother's Day. See you next week.

Sue tells me I need to post today. It will take me awhile to get used to this and if I don't have much to say, I will try to keep quiet.
The big thing in my life right this minute is that I am fighting a kidney stone and for those of you who have had one or more, you know this is not fun. Today I am ok. Last night was bad and I ended up taking a pain killer, which worked and knocked me out till nearly noon. It was great to sleep and even didn't think about the shop!

We are filming a video on Thurs., I think, for a Charter commercial on tv. I am hoping for filming between 10 and 12 ........stop in if you want to be in the background! I need people! :)

Also working like crazy on the "new" website and the person helping me from Gazlo.com is adding things to it each day. You can go in and view the classes and it will even remind you if you have signed up for one, what time it is, etc. Tells you when the shop closes the night you are viewing, etc. Pretty high tech for me, but fun.

My First Post! Whoopee!

Angie C. is teaching me how to do this seemingly impossible task of learning to blog! Whee! We're on our way folks. Perhaps the e-mails will get shorter and you will be able to see photos of what's new or what is going to be a class, etc. This is something I never thought I would be able to do. Rowena's Summer Book using Cricut machine...a must do if you want to have a blast making your very own word books, any word you want! Call the shop to sign up. Times are: Sat., May 9th, 10-1; Fri., May 15th, 6 to 9; Tues., May 26th 10 to 1; Fri., June 12th 6 to 9; Tues., June 16th, 6 to 9. Fee: $28 Just bring your basic tool kit with favorite adhesives and be prepared to have a ton of fun. Snacks included, of course!
